Admission Procedure

As Gyanmala English High School is committed and determined to provide equal opportunity for quality education, it warmly welcomes every child of our nation. There is no bar or requirement for admission. But failing to meet the minimum criteria, the school may reject such candidate. Admission is granted on the basis of the results of the entrance test and interview. Admission forms will be distributed only for classes Nursery to Nine. Students can register their names only after succeeding in the entrance test. Registration form should be submitted with birth certificates, two passport size photos, previous school’s progress report card and transfer certificate.

Syllabus for the Admission

* For Nursery, only an interview of the child will be taken. There will be a written test and an interview for classes L.K.G. to Nine.

* The written test will be taken in English, Mathematics, Science and Nepali subjects.

Questions will be based on the standard of the class in which the student is presently studying.

* To be eligible for admission the child's age should be:

Play group    Nursery        L.K.G.         U.K.G.         One
2 years +       3 years+       4years+       5years+       6 years+        and so on.

Fee Rules

All fees are charged for the full session.

Hostels/ Day-boarders fees are charged every month. This is charged for twelve months. All fees are payable in advance.

All payments should be made before 10th of every month.

If the fees are not paid by the 10th of every month, a late payment of Ps. 50/- per month will be charged.

If the fees of three consecutive months remain unpaid, the student’s name shall be struck off from the school registration.

No deduction is made in any kind of fees for a short or extended absence.

Any student wishing to join or withdraw in the middle session will have to pay the fees for the whole year.

Parents wishing to withdraw their wards from the school hostel in the middle of the session will have to pay the boarding and lodging fees for the whole session.

There shall be no refund of any fees even when a student is suspended or expelled from the school.

All dues ought to be cleared before each terminal examination; otherwise students will not be allowed to sit for examination.
